Third son of King David，who had ambitions of succeeding his fa-ther on the throne by leading a revolt which ultimately failed. He was wellknown also for a very long and luxurious hair. This hair eventually led to hisdeath. He was riding a mule when his hair got caught in the branches of atree. The mule kept going，leaving him hanging by the hair.
